Thinking of branching out into makeup? Have you always dreamt of being a makeup artist? Or maybe you just want to master the basics of makeup for yourself.  Join us at the Catherine Hinds Company Makeup Artistry Seminar. This 45-hour seminar is in scope of practice for estheticians and cosmetologist and is approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Cosmetology and Barbering. It all begins with a basic understanding and selection of the products, colors, and client assessment. Product formula changes, technological advances, and fashion trends play an essential role in meeting the demands of the client. It is true that makeup is an illusion, a thorough understanding of the basic rules of color theory and facial structure is essential for the client’s satisfaction.

Seminar Details

The Makeup Artistry Advance Seminar will provide licensed professionals with both the fundamentals and advanced techniques to master the latest industry trends. This workshop provides professionals with in-depth quality education in makeup, protecting the consumer and qualifying the professional. As an already licensed professional, this workshop provides you with 45 hours of education and hands-on experience that will be the foundation for success. Throughout the course students will develop the analytical skills required to determine appropriate makeup services and to achieve the best look for each client and allow you to be thoroughly educated in makeup applications and business strategies. This Seminar will be featuring lecture theory presentation, open discussion, Q&A and hands-on training.  Attendees will be paired up to provide and receive the makeup applications. Please be aware by registering you agree to be a model.

Hands-On Training & Models

Attendees will serve as models and be required to work on each other.  

No model’s under the age of 18.

The certificate will be awarded from and by Catherine Hinds Company.  Website registration will be followed by an enrollment agreement that must be completed.

After submitting the required forms back to Catherine Hinds Company, the seminar details will be sent via email.  It is imperative that you check your email after website registration.

Catherine Hinds Company reserves the right to cancel/postpone a seminar anytime prior to the seminar date.  Seminars are contingent on sufficient enrollment of attendees.
